PUFFINS ARE BACK (and so we are)
Hello everybody! After a long winter, winds of change are coming to welcome spring. And it is at this magic moment of the year that... PUFFINS ARE BACK. We are having them in high numbers around all three puffin islands: Lundey, Akurey and Engey. And this makes us really happy. These islands, and the bay itself, feels empty without our tiny friends with their colourful beak and its confused look. After a long winter rafting in the cold North Atlantic waters they are finally back and ready for another (we hope) busy and succeslful breading season. And we will be there to enjoy watching them, along many other bird species (like guillemots, black guillemots, kittiwakes, fulmars, all kinds of ducks...)
