One Hit Wonder
Only one puffin tour took place today, but what a tour it was. Apart from the weather, the tour was one of the best of the season so far, with hundreds of puffins at Akurey. The little black and white birds formed huge groups that flew all around the RIB. Many more sat upon the island, appearing to shelter from the weather and the brave ones bobbed up and down on the ocean as they rafted together. Engey was also superb for puffin watching as we were able to get up close and personal with the birds at their burrows. They were seen huddled together, perched on the rocks,allowing for our guests to take photographs with ease.
