Are puffins rising up to rule the world?!
A calm, cloudy day greeted us out over the harbour as we left to see the puffins at Engey and Akarey today.
We arrived at Engey to puffins flapping their wings, leaving their burrows, joining the puffins flying out over the bay - a very busy time of day! On our second tour today we headed out to Akarey and likened it to a busy puffin airport lounge. Roughly a hundred puffins swam and flew around Akarey in a grand display of puffindom! Are puffins rising up to rule the world?! The saga continues tomorrow....
