Rough landing!
Today's puffins provided much amusement with their behavior. We watched puffins come out of their burrows to greet the morning and also puffins coming and going from their rocky perches. The day was clear and the sea was flat so when a puffin flew towards the rocky perch we were watching, we were all surprised when it missed and hit the rock instead! Despite its rather unfortunate fall from grace it hopped up on a different rock and proceeded to look as nothing had happened. We hope these clowns of the sea continue to entertain us!
